P.Competition Law and Antitrust, Corporate, Kibbutz Sector, NPO

We specialize in the provision of legal counsel and representation to NPOs (including non-benefit organizations and companies).

These include both major organizations with high-volume budgets and smaller organizations traditionally associated with the third sector, such as in the fields of education, community, welfare, culture, etc. We also provide legal counsel to the management of those organizations (both foreign and Israeli) in relation to their routine operations, customized for their particular frameworks.

The legal advisory services which our firm provides to third-sector organizations encompass all stages in the NPO’s life. Prior to the actual founding of the NPO, our firm assists in ensuring that efficient and effective organizational and operating structures are designed according to the client’s specifications, drafting the requisite incorporation documents and assist the client with all procedures to ensure that the NPO receives a proper management certificate and accreditation as a public institution for the purpose of receiving donations, pursuant to the tax laws.

For established third-sector organizations, we provide ongoing legal assistance and guidance, including in relation to their contractual engagements with other organizations and authorities, both as providers of community services. We also provide ongoing legal assistance relating to the granting or receipt of donations, as well as their contractual engagements with government ministries relating to the receipt of budgets and financial support.

Additionally, Barnea assists third-sector organizations during audit proceedings being conducted by the Corporations Authority in the Ministry of Justice.

We believe that the professional and personal attention being provided by the team at our firm is of utmost importance to third-sector organizations.
